Chiller City Corporation is a medium sized, but rapidly growing, remanufacturer of industrial chillers used in semiconductor manufacturing, medical imaging, solar cell research and development, basic research and many other industries. Our customers are Fortune 500 companies, smaller to medium sized companies, hospitals, universities and the US Government. Chiller City sells chillers world wide and has the largest inventory of rebuilt chillers in the world. Chiller City currently occupies a 30,000 sq. ft. state of the art facility completed in December of 2011.
Most work is currently performed at our main location in Mesa, AZ. We do not do on-site service except for selected local customers. Our business is not seasonal and we do not normally perform "roof" work. We sometimes work on other types of industrial or commercial refrigeration devices, but we do not service residential equipment.

Senior Electronic/Refrigeration Technician

Note: The ideal candidate for this position will possess good leadership qualities. Ideally this person will be promoted to shop supervisor within a short time.
Duties: Troubleshoot, repair and rebuild industrial water chillers and related equipment including associated electronics. 99% inside work, no roof work, occasional service call.
Necessary Skills: Must have positive professional attitude and be organized and willing to work with little supervision. Must have pride in workmanship. Must have electronics and/or refrigeration technical experience and training. Mechanical experience/training a plus. Ability to troubleshoot and repair all manner of refrigeration systems and electronic controls. R/R of pumps, electronics, plumbing and other chiller assemblies. Brazing and Soldering competency a must. ADL required, CDL a plus.
Helpful Skills: Must have direct experience on chiller systems, cascade systems and/or a wide variety of equipment as well as training, however good attitude may be accepted over some experience.
Other Requirements: Must have own tools adequate to perform job function. Must be able to pass exam for EPA Universal Refrigeration Technician (608) within 30 days if not already held.
Compensation: $16.00-27.00/hr to start, DOE plus benefits after probationary period.
